CIS Goes 2007
Submitted by Mardi A Holliday
The CIS department spent last summer learning Office 2007 so we could
teach it starting in Fall 2007. With the help of Jodi Bauer, Bill
Bromley and Mitch Ostaszewski from IT; and Arnold Di Blasi and Don
Friel of Academic Computing we are successfully teaching Office 2007 in
all CIS 103 sections (main campus and the three regional centers). We
are now able to teach our student skills using the software product
that will be available for the next 5 to 10 years rather than a version
that is now obsolete.
